Definition of Drawing or Model (Design)
The drawing or model partially or totally designates the product’s
design, its external appearance and characteristics, such as lines, shape,
colours, format, texture or materials it is made of or contains.
Product Definition
Product is the
designation for any handicraft or industrial item, including, among others,
parts intended to be assembled into a complex product, packaging presentation,
graphic symbols and typographic typefaces, excluding computer programs.
Drawings or Models
Protection Rights can be requested on both National and Communitarian levels.
Legal Protection of Designs or Communitarian
Models is simultaneously requested to 25 countries of the European Community
through a single application at OHIM.
